About Troop 689, Seaford NY

More than 50 years, and going strong, Troop 689 of Seaford continues to prepare young men to be the leaders of tomorrow. Troop 689 of Seaford has supports boys as young as 10 (Cub Scout Webelos recipient of the Arrow of Light), all the way to the age of turning 18.

Our leaders strive to guide these boys to be the best they can be, to gain confidence, to hold positions of leadership, and to achieve goals they never thought possible. All while creating new friends.

While each scout develops their own goals at their own pace, they have so much fun doing so along the way. Weekly meetings, monthly camping, community service, and more, all create a fun environment for these boys.

As the scout works towards his rank, they get closer to possibly achieving the rank of "Eagle Scout". Our leaders as well as the scout parents support all these boys as we all become one giant Scout Family.
